SWITZERLAND WORK PERMIT

You’ll require a work visa to settle as an employee in Switzerland. You can get a long-stay Swiss work visa (national or D-visa) to stay in Switzerland.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• You’ll need a university degree, some prior work experience, and good skills in any field.
• You are a specialized worker or a professional with managerial-level experience.
• You already have a job in Switzerland, and your employer is sponsoring you.
• A shortage of EU/EFTA citizens is available to fill the position.
• Your employer is responsible for making an application for your work permit.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• A valid passport with two or more blank pages.
• Three passport page copies are required from the relevant pages.
• Four passport-size photos.
• Copies of your job contract.
• Proof of your professional experience
• Proof of your educational background or degrees (diplomas, certificates, etc.)
• Updated resume

APPLICATION PROCESS

• Find a job in Switzerland.
• Complete the Swiss work visa document file.
• Wait for your Swiss employer to apply for your work permit in Switzerland.
• Apply for a Swiss work visa from your country.
