Canada Work Permit

Canada requires immigrants to maintain the country’s great economic progress during the last few years. To keep up with the surge, the country is expanding its immigration targets to around 400,000 per year. Many people are searching for ways to get a Canadian permanent residency.

Work permit applications are still being accepted in Canada. Here are the criteria for employees eligible to work in Canada:

• Temporary workers who have a valid work permit or who have been approved for a work permit but have not yet received one
• IEC participants who have not yet activated their work permits must have a legitimate employment offer to enter.
• IEC members who have already activated their work permits and have been temporarily outside the country do not need a genuine job offer to re-enter the country.
• If you’re flying, you must comply with all airline rules and pass a health check before being allowed to board your aircraft. 
• When you arrive in Canada, your health will be evaluated before you leave the port of entry. You must have a 14-day quarantine plan. Even if you have no symptoms, you must do this.
• Only those who offer critical services, such as truck drivers who cross the border regularly to keep products flowing, are exempt from quarantine rules.
